Turn-key Energy Efficiency program for Small and Medium Sized Businesses

Are you interested in saving on your utility bill, lowering your maintenance costs, and greening your business at the same time? Well, look no further because we have just the program for you!

The San Mateo County Energy Watch program offers energy efficiency services and great rebates for commercial PG&E customers in Menlo Park.

SMC energy watch2The SMC Energy Watch program is a partnership between PG&E, the City of Menlo Park, and the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County. We offer no-cost energy assessments that evaluate energy and cost saving opportunities for lighting, refrigeration, HVAC systems, vending machines, and occupancy sensor upgrades. Any commercial PG&E customer on A1, A6, A10, or E19-v rate schedules throughout San Mateo County can apply for the energy assessment.

A SMC Energy Watch customer is presented with a detailed energy report that recommends a list of energy efficiency upgrades, the anticipated energy savings, total cost of retrofit and the amount that our rebates cover for the energy efficient installations. Our rebates generally cover 30-100% of the total cost.

All installations are completed by pre-approved contractors and each job is inspected to ensure quality assurance. We issue the rebate directly to the contractor so the customer only pays for the non-rebated portion of the project cost.
